- 3 large eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoon butter, for frying
- 5 thick slices bread (I recommend brioche, challah, or French Bread)
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and powdered sugar.
Spray a frying pan with non-stick cooking spray and melt the butter over medium heat.
Soak the sliced bread, one at a time, in the egg mixture.
Fry the bread in batches, about 2 minutes per side. Spray the pan with more non-stick spray between batches and add more butter, if needed.
Serve warm topped with butter and maple syrup.
