French Toast

Ingredients
  

  • 3 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon butter, for frying
  • 5 thick slices bread (I recommend brioche, challah, or French Bread)

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and powdered sugar.
  • Spray a frying pan with non-stick cooking spray and melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Soak the sliced bread, one at a time, in the egg mixture.
  • Fry the bread in batches, about 2 minutes per side. Spray the pan with more non-stick spray between batches and add more butter, if needed.
  • Serve warm topped with butter and maple syrup.
